This past May (2008) I shot my first wedding ever - my brother Nate and his wife Kendra. It was a wonderful, inspiring experience; I found myself stretched and tested as a photographer. I loved the challenge of capturing the emotion of the event.
This photo is one of my favorites. You'll find several shots with this same tree in the background - it was a beautiful old tree, gnarled and weathered. I found significance in positioning Nate and Kendra, just beginning their life together, next to this tree that has lived and grown through the tests of time.
